All drivers are responsible for having each of their commercial vehicles and trailers inspected annually and semi-annually by a licenced motor vehicle Inspection Station and "Certified Technicians". The mechanic will check to ensure that the vehicle or trailer is in compliance with all of the inspection requirements contained in the appropriate standard of the National Safety Code 11, Part B. This standard has been adopted through regulation under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.
